Sofi has a great arrangement there!
Have a lovely holiday. We're off on Saturday and our gang have their Auntie Tina and Uncle Michael living in with them. They will be spoiled rotten!

Oh Jill, that's so lovely! Carol is away at a conference, so she might not see this for a few days. We'll make sure to remind her to check the thread.

Re: Missing Tortie SW15 5LQ
The little girl is home. She has been well looked after for at least two weeks of her adventure and is no worse for wear. She was eventually taken to a vet a little way from home and scanned for a chip. Why it took so long for the finders to do this, I don't know, but the important thing she is safe...

Julie, what a beautiful and heartrending poem. I remember so well how traumatic CC's illness and death were, but we didn't know about this added distress you had to bear. My heart goes out to you. Your darling boy will be remembered forever, and his legacy is your dearest Barney. (((Hugs))) xxxx

Please can you send the next one my way, please Mark! A fait accompli genuinely homeless stray which OH can't resist, who gets on famously with other cats, and will accept that Edgar is Chief Dude.

Re: Cat Gone AWOL worrying me sick
Dear Zoe, if you feel about to give this forum another chance, may I suggest you post this in Health and Behaviour. A lot of people rarely look at the Bereavement section who could give you some helpful insight into what might have happened and ask the right questions to help you think it through. I...

It is a very, very sad day for the CC community. Fluffy was loved by everyone, and made a huge impact on so many of us. We are all grieving for you, Carol, and want to give you all the comfort we can.

Oh, that's a lovely update. Well done. My oldest girl, Pepsi, belonged to my friend who died three years ago. She came to live with me because her husband couldn't cope with her. It was the best thing we ever did. I love her so much too, I can really relate to your feelings for Beryl. Love to you al...

Re: Help advice needed
Hello Just to add to this, it sounds as if you've been really working hard with the little girl, bless her. I think cats often do LOOK bored - they can sit for hours just staring into space, sitting at an open door, but not going out. But as Lilith says, if she was bored, she'd be demanding that you...

Missing Tortie SW15 5LQ
Missing from home since 2 June, but sighted in the immediate area several times since, very small tortie girl. She is timid and will easily scare. Indoor girl who is not used to being outside. She escaped from a 2nd floor apartment with exposed walkway outside the front door. She has done this befor...

This is just so sad. I remember the beautiful pictures of Lola and Ruby eating dinner with lovely James/Brian who was making himself at home. Where do you live? Please at least ask your local rescues to circulate their details whilst you keep them at home until they can be adopted by a loving family...

What a heart breaking post and situation. I remember these lovely girls, and Brian/James who so wanted to be part of your family. It is a real shock to read your post. If you really feel you have no other option, which is gut wrenching to think of, please don't go via Facebook or Gumtree. Start to m...

Yes, it could have been the name, it does have a kind of hoe down feel about it! We are city too, but on the edge of parks and woodland in zone 2/3 of London, so we get a lot of wildlife. We lived opposite Putney Heath up to last year and regularly saw badgers running around in the street. We have f...

Re: First Day of Summer.....
It's been a very strange day here in SW London. I was working from home and expected to be regularly distracted by the gang of three but they barely stirred all day. Lou Lou came down briefly from her igloo on the bed to go to the loo, give the garden a once over and was then back upstairs until 8.3...

Oh Julie, that's good, I'm so glad the lovely boy is happier today. Maybe he needs to go to the loo outdoors to feel less stressed. I know Pepsi is much happier finding her spot in the garden and it's always rather amusing watching her make her choice - usually somewhere inconvenient for us, such as...

Pet shop selling kittens
Hello all I was distraught to find a local pet shop selling kittens with no home checks, only 6 weeks old, and at varying prices depending on colour. I had a slight meltdown, but wasn't in any position to take them all home and some of them were reserved even if I had been. Chatting to friends about...
