Can anyone offer an older a cat a place to live? Warrington

I have an older Tom cat who has been visiting our garden and sleeps on the trampoline sometimes all day. He is on the list for cat protection as I have enquired as advised and no one has come forward. He has a loving manner so he has obviously had a good home at some time but not now. I have provided him with some food and left my shed open in the rain but he just cries to come indoors. I cannot let him in as I have 3 cats of my own and my Tom does not approve and runs off. I cannot risk losing my Cat and as I am not working at present my budget is tight and I have not had my Tom neutered yet. Also I don't think the (stray) Tom has been neutered as he sprays all the time. Can you help me as I feel so sorry for him but alas I cannot give him a home but feels he deserves a chance in the latter days of his life.
