I have a large Black And White Tom Cat living in my back garden it has made it's home in my dogs dog-house in my back garden. It's a very friendly and affectionate cat needs loving care. I believe the owners moved house nearly a year ago and left their cat behind. I live in Slough, Cippenham Meadow, Berkshire.

Have you contacted local rescue centres? There a list here, try them all and ask to go on a waiting list if they have one - stress that the cat is outdoors and a stray. It might seem hopeless, but perseverance will pay off, especially with smaller independent recues. Do check that they have a no kill policy, though:
