what would you do if you found a kitten??

it's 5 months old.not allowed flea spray as vets want to see the mum!! ive told them he doesnt have a mum; im his mum..so now he cannot get any flea spray etc off them.. they were really rude to me!! what can I do?? i dont know where else to ask.sorry if not allowed.xx

I think you need to speak to a different vet, if it's 5 months rather than 5 weeks, I've never known one need to see the mum. You don't need a spray at that age, you can use a spot on.

Absolutely you need to find another vet! Five weeks is very young to be away from it's mother and you need their support. I'm assuming you've made attempts to find the mother?
