HOME NEEDED FOR GENTLE BOY CAT - DORSET

Post by jodee »

We have come to the sad decision that Will needs another home - he is black, 3 years old, neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up-to-date.

We also have 2 other girl cats, one is from the same litter as Will, the other girl is 8 years old.

Will is such a gentle cat and loves sitting on my lap but he is also extremely nervous and timid and we seem to have a lot of cats in the area that come around to the garden, maybe attracted by the females (also neutered), but he gets bullied really badly and is just a bundle of nerves, hiding in the house.

We feel he needs to be the only cat in a household and prefers one of his owners to be female!

We have tried lots of different ways to help, Feliway, etc. and been to the vet for advice.

Hope someone can help, we are in East Dorset.

Hi

We live in West Dorset

We do have 1 cat Milly recently got from the Fern Sanctuary nr. Chard. We also have our daughters small dog living with us.

+ plus my Husband is disabled & retired. I work in town for 2 days then we travel via motorhome to Hungerford where we stay for 2 days whilst I work followed by 1 day in Bristol returning home that evening.

Milly travels with us & it would be expected that your cat would also

Hi Lefty, thank you for your post, I hadn't seen it until now.

Thank you for your interest, however, I do feel he needs to be the only cat in the household, not sure how he would be with dogs as he is so nervous.

Thanks again, Jodee.
