I'm currently fostering a lovely eldery boy (tabby and white, 10 years plus). He's been with me and my cats for 2 and a half months. He does have hyperthyroidism, like a lot of elderly cats. His pill costs 28p a day and I think this may be putting people off adopting him, that and actually giving him the pill. I'm not sure why; 28p isn't much in the scheme of things. I've never had a cat so affectionate with such a loud purr
