Battersea Dogs & Cats Home - FIV positive Cats need homes

Post by BDCH »

At Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in Old Windsor we have a trio of gorgeous felines who are looking for special indoor homes. When Frank, Mittens and Pixie came to Battersea they all tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (Follow this link for more details about virus: http://www.icatcare.org/advice/cat-heal ... -virus-fiv" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) which means they need to live in an indoor home with an enclosed outside space, such as a roof garden or large balcony. Having FIV hasn’t set this loving trio back and they are all keen to continue leading active outdoor lives, so we would like to find them suitable homes with the surroundings they will flourish in. If you think you could provide the love and care for Frank, Mittens or Pixie call 0843 509 4444 or email [email protected]

As a 'mummy' to one such cat, PLEASE consider giving a home to an FIV cat. They are NOT ill. You just have to be a little more careful to keep them fit.

I do worry about my boy but that's because he has 3 legs (and he is my sweet-natured baby) not because he's FIV. :)
