Abused but lovely girl (1-1.5 yrs old) looking for her first home

Post by Miley »

Miley's past is sad but she has a happy present and hopefully even happier future.

She was a stray, skinny, found on the street in a very bad shape. She had a muscle on the side of her body broken and some of those tiny front teeth kicked out. She was also pregnant. I took her in and sterilized her - in the shape she was, she might have not been able to survive giving birth and having kittens so it was an abortion at the same time. Difficult decision that we had to make to save her life.
She had another surgery to stitch her muscle. And just like that, she became a lovely cheeky girl that likes to lie on your lap or go behind your back and mess with your hair while you sit on the sofa. She is very friendly with our cats and dogs, not afraid of people and kind of loves everyone. It is amazing that she is so affectionate even though people didn't treat her well. We cannot keep her as one of our cats hates her and spends all day hissing and growling at her. Miley is still trying to play even with that cat - true angel. She is very calm and relaxed for most of the day and then she gets her playful spells when she chases invisible things. Her meow sounds like a bird chirping and she's quite communicative, she makes eye contact and reads you well when you try to show her something. Smart kitty.

Uses cat toilet nicely and doesn't mind being indoors. She sometimes goes out to the backyard to explore. She eats a quality dry food only and doesn't like anything else. I cook chicken file or chicken liver sometimes and that she eats. She's looking really well now.

She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and sterilised. Vets say that she is very young - one said she was 1 year, another said not more than 1.5 years old.

She is in Manchester but I wouldn't mind going half way to anywhere in the UK to bring her to a good home.
