Advice :Pregnant Stray,about 2-3 Weeks till due,London E10

Post by webstoat »

Hi there.
I Need a bit of advice about getting a pregnant stray re-homed ;

We managed to get her to the vets a few weeks ago as we were intending to have her spayed but discovered she was pregnant - the vet suggested she was probably a bit too far gone to terminate the pregnancy (although they left the ultimate choice to us we found it difficult to do so).

I've tried a couple of local charities (Celia Hammond etc) but they are all full due to the time of year (I'm waiting to hear back from Battersea) - we would take her ourselves but we've already taken in 4 strays and they're not remotely keen on the newcomer.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other people we could try ; Ideally before she disappears to give birth - any suggestions or advice would be most welcome

Thanks - Graham
