Sara and Betty (Bromley & District Cat Rescue)

(Posted on behalf of Bromley & District Cat Rescue)

Bromley & District Cat Rescue are struggling due the ill health of the main carer of the cats, so homes are needed URGENTLY in London & Home Counties

Sara & Betty are two of the cats at the rescue needing a home. They are extremely shy of people - Experienced home needed!!!

Sara and Betty came to us separately, but from quite similar circumstances. Both were living rough, and had had a litter of kittens when they were reported and brought into the rescue. Luckily their kittens were young enough to be socialised and all found homes. Sara and Betty however, haven't been quite so lucky - as they are so very nervous of people (semi-feral almost) they need a very special, experienced home. They have been here a while now, and enjoy going out in the garden, so would need a home with outside access.

They enjoy their home comforts, and would be happy living somewhere where they are just allowed to be who they are, with no great expectations. It's possible that in the right home one or both of the girls may come round and be a bit more approachable, but it's unlikely they will ever be lap cats! Sara is 6 and Betty is about 4.

We hadn't put the girls on our page for homing before as we didn't think anyone would have the kind of home they need, but someone at Cat Chat has pursuaded us that there is a home out there for every cat, so here they are, you never know! We would be really happy if they could find somewhere, preferably together, as they like other feline company (more than human company!)." onclick=";return false;
