Urgent temporary foster home need for 3 older gents, Norfolk

I apologise for just joining & posting this but I wasn't aware how urgent this was until this evening.

Urgent foster home needed for 3 very much loved older gentlemen (2 black aged 15, 1 ginger aged 9) cats by Sept 1st.

Food, upkeep & any vet bills will be covered, 2 have ongoing medication (1 thyroid, the other is having immunotherapty for allergies) that are covered by insurance.

Preferably Norfolk/East Anglia area so their person can still see them, but there is the possibility we can arrange transport further if there's no alternative.

They have rescue spaces available but this is breaking my friend's heart & I want to try & help him keep his babies if I can, & of course keep those spaces available for any other cats that need them.

Thankyou for reading x

Cat Chat may have already suggested the Cinnamon Trust, but just in case: http://www.cinnamon.org.uk/home.php

Hi, but sorry to say, the Cinnamon Trust may not be an option.

Two and a half years ago I contacted them because I feared I might have to ask for help with my (then) 3 cats and a ... royal python ... :o

Their attitude was extremely dismissive - basically, they didn't do cats. At all. No vacancies. Just out of fun I enquired about the python. Lol.

They do dogs and cagebirds.

I was very very lucky to find a friend of a friend who ran a rescue with numerous and marvellous foster-carers, and they took my cats in. I ended up in hospital (purgatory) for 2 weeks so my ex (a good friend) looked after the python.

The kitten season may be coming to an end (we hope!) so there may be vacancies in local rescues, I hope you find one as good as the one who looked after my girls. I still donate.

All the very best.
