Doris needs a home essex

Post by Help for Doris »

My neighbour moved out and left her cat behind, I have taken her in and have been calling her doris. I have contact CPL and RSPCA but no one will take her and have sent me here. I think Doris may be pregnant as she has put on weight very quickly. I dont have a pet carrier or a car and cannot really do anything for her other than feed her. I am in southend on sea essex. Doris is only young, quite small and if she is pregnant this may be her 3rd litter as my neighbour sold 2 lots of kittens last year. She is black and white and very sweet. timid as was badly treated and will eat anything as was never fed properly, she spent her life locked in a box room meowing at the window.

Hello

Thank you for caring for Doris. Cat Chat’s rehoming advice page may help: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/rehome-pet-cat; you can find a list of rescues in the local area here: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/cat-r ... tres-essex; I would recommend contacting as many as you can and explain the situation, and they may be able to give you advice, especially if you think she could be pregnant.
You could also email Cat Chat’s Help Desk for further advice: cat.advice (at) catchat.org

There are no rehoming centres in my area, there are lots in essex, but none that I can get too as there are all too far away.
