Milton Keynes

I recently lost my little 3 yr old cat to a tragic accident. She was super adventurous, too adventurous 😥 My other cat Ruby, though they were not best friends, does seem to be missing her. I would love to take in another cat, maybe 2, but doesn't seem to be any available that can live with another cat nearby. I don't drive either which doesn't help. Ruby is very loving but has typical tortitude and does think she's queen bee, a more quiet, laid back cat(s) would probably be best.

We’re sorry to hear about your loss.

If you think Ruby would be happy with a new companion or two, you might wish to take a look at the following pages on the main Cat Chat site, if you haven’t already seen them:

See Cats Needing Homes near you here: https://www.catchat.org/adopt

Find your local rescue & rehoming organisations here: https://www.catchat.org/shelters

If you can’t find any suitable cats near you then you might be able to join a shelter’s waiting list so that they can contact you when one becomes available.

It’s also worth noting that many shelters are now offering contact-free homing, where they bring your new cat(s) to your door, provided you’re within a reasonable driving distance of their location.

Hope that helps.
