how to get dye off a cat??

Ah i put Teds flea loation on and it made the red out of his collar run on to his fur. Ive tried just water but no luck. He keeps trying to lick it and i'm scared it can harm him.

Eeek, never had that. Always best to remove the collar ..... but you've probably sussed that now......

Perhaps try pet wipes?

Or just clip the worst bits off? It soon grows back.
