Feline Clinic
Feline Clinic
I just posted a thread regarding Baileys bronchitis and the vet we usually see, who has thirty years experience and specialises in feline health, is leaving on Friday! The other vets are locums who come and go so now we're (hubby and me)both worried. I would love to find another permanent vet with similar knowledge. Can anyone living in Nottingham recommend a vet like this or are we being unrealistic? I see there is a Feline Clinic in Bramcote, the main vet practice is in Long Eaton but would like to hear if anyone's been there and how good it is. Sorry if this seems daft but we're genuinely concerned as we have two cats with health issues and the current vet practice is very dog orientated -apart from the departing vet..
Re: Feline Clinic
Ok so I have just found out that the Feline Clinic no longer exists and the website is out of date, so annoying!

I've been googling, and I think I would opt for this practice, with its links to a university and hospital, making referrals so much easier - and I suspect a practice with its own 24 hour emergency service will appeal to you

Re: Feline Clinic
I'd just like to second that.. I used the Pride Veterinary Centre when I lived in Derby. They're part of the Scarsdale group who are very large and very, very good. They have great referrals and a state of the art hospital, only recently built.
Unfortunately though, all of that does come at a price, they're not cheap. For routine work I found they were anywhere from 15-30% more expensive than elsewhere. That said, their care is second to none and it's peace of mind knowing that any complex care will be done by experts.

Thanks for looking, I've looked at the link and it sounds perfect but too far away. It would need to be in Nottingham and can't see a similar practice here but I'll keep looking.
