My cat keeps bringing up her food
My cat keeps bringing up her food
My 13 year old female cat keeps vomiting little bits of food intermittently. She's been doing it for around a month now but it hasn't affected her appetite. She also seems a bit restless. Would it be a good idea to get her checked out by a vet?

Re: My cat keeps bringing up her food
Hello Cindy
Yes, definitely. It could be nothing or it could be something that needs attention or something that will pass, but if her behaviour has changed, even in small ways, and given that she is an older girl, a vet visit is always advisable.

I agree, you definitely need to get her to a vet. She sounds very poorly.

I took her to vet and he thinks it's overactive thyroid - one thing I didn't mention was her increase in appetite, which is a definite symptom of this. I'm glad I took your advice as she's had blood tests to check this, which also showed she has slight problems with her liver
