fat cat ?

hi my cat was ill recently and didn't eat for a few days and was on a drip when she came home she had lost quite a bit of weight we tried all cat foods but still wouldn't eat so at last we tried cream of chicken soup and she started eating again we also fed her a bit of stake duck and chicken. we left them at the cattery over this week end and she came back she was quite podgy but she hasn't put much weight on any where else she looks pregnant but she can't be as she's been done and she's a house cat so i don't know if she could get worms unless she caught them at the cattery but surely they would have noticed that there we are getting some worming tablets just in case may be they just fed her a lot at the cattery how long does it take for a cat to get fat ? any one ? xaflame

Putting on weight is usually a matter of weeks rather than days, I'd just keep an eye on her now she's home.
