RIP GRANY and thank you all.
RIP GRANY and thank you all.
Last night we had to say goodnight to our little Grany, I wish we found him earlier and I wish we could of spent more time with our beautiful lad. He had such a lot of problems and could of been picked up sooner by the SPA but now is not a time for regret. We were priveliged to have him for just over 2 months. Such a loving friendly, cuddly cat. So soon also after losing our little Chamaille. We hope he comes home soon wherever he has gone.
Thank you so much to those who responded to our every question over his diet, wellbeing and health. It means so much. Interestingly our vets here were touched to know how well the english and Americans cared for their animals and how much we make them part of our family and become very attached to them. I really was a blubbering wreck last night and still am. It never gets any easier and has been a very stressful few weeks trying to help him through his problems but was definately worth it.thankyou for all your help.

I am so sorry to read this, after everything you tried and did for poor Grany. At least he had a couple of good months with you rather than wasting away in the shelter.

So sorry Emma. We can only do our best for them - sadly, sometimes that means sparing them suffering. RIP little one.

Hi Emma things happening with my posts. I posted yesterday but ... so sorry to hear about Grany. Hold onto Ruth's post - Grany had love & care with you. Thinking of you. It's so emotional & hard to understand. You'll receive support from this site. Vivian

Thanks for the wonderful replies. They do put us through some stress sometimes but would never change the experiences we have with these wonderful creatures. They have the most wonderful temprement and sounds like we have some wonderful caring owners of our cats on here. So sad as well that we haven't had our first Christmas with him either

Emma, I am so very very sorry. It never is easy to say good bye to a beloved pet, regardless of how short a time we've had the honour to spend with them. They leave such big holes in our hearts.
I hope you can take comfort that for the last few months of his life Grany was more loved that he probably every was. You spared him more suffering and gave him the gift of a peaceful and dignified passing.
Good night Grany, sleep tight and sweet dreams
Big ((hug)) to you Emma x
