Our 9 yr old cat just had her annual check and we've been told she needs some work poor thing. However I do want to make sure we're not being rolled over by the vets who we prepaid for lifetime vaccinations and health checks.... It does seem a little expensive but I have little to compare it with apart from my own dentist lol.
So she needs bloods doing to see if she's fit enough for anesthetic which is £58 regardless.
If fit enough, she then needs anesthetic, a tooth clean, an 1 extraction. Apparently she has smelly breath (don't they all?)

Total cost including bloods, cleaning & extraction will be £300-£350 depending on how much anesthetic required and recovery time.
Does this sound fair? Would really appreciate any advice before we continue.
The vet is Vets For Pets BTW.
Cheers
