Cat Meowing?

Hi Everyone,

is anyone able to give me some advice. my cat is a very loud meower and 2 weeks ago she stopped and till now she still hasn't meowed? she opens her mouth to but nothing come out? anyone seen this before or know anyone who has? she's eating, drinking, weeing, and pooing fine, and nothings out of the ordinary? can cats get colds? Been two weeks now so starting to worry???

Hi and welcome :)

That IS a bit strange, but if she's carrying on as normal that's hopeful.

But since she's normally a rowdy madam I'd advise a vet check, just to be on the safe side. Also, is she spayed, because entire females can be noisy when looking for a mate - that's why they call it 'in call' lol. Then afterwards the little baggages are all quiet and satisfied ... with a bump under their pinny ... :shock:

Hello,

thanks, my mums away so think she may be a little stressed as shes only sees me for a couple hours when shes used to my mum being in all day. shes had the snip, so cant be that? Will keep you update, gonna take her vets at end of the week just to be safe?
