Our Goobbee rescue cat is now 9 days following his bout with acute pancreatitis. He is slowly recovering and is on 4 different antibiotics. We are still waiting for the cytology report on abdominal fluid that was taken during his u/s last week.
We need help in setting up Goobbee's new diet program so he does not get another bout of pancreatitis. Can anyone help us who has gone through this with their own cats? Are there special foods to give him and to not give him? Any special supplements as well?
Thank you for your help. We live in rural Ontario Canada with our 3 rescue cats that have blessed us for many years.

Re: Pancreatitis Special Diet?
I have not had to give Tilly a special diet to keep Pancreatitis at bay. With Tilly, build up of fur balls seems to be the trigger, so regular grooming to remove loose fur is more important than diet. That Tilly gets Thrive and Catagan chicken with various things or fish has more to do with what was needed to get her eating again (and her being a pampered cat, of course).
