Hello everyone
I am really distressed over this situation
I have now 2 cats ( both originally from shelter)
One is fiv positive
And one got diagnosis of cat flu carrier
I understand flu can be deadly for immunocompromised cats
I am suspecting that this means i have to return one of them to shelter or find them a home asap because of the risk to fiv cat?
To the best of my knowledge the fiv cat was never exposed to flu virus ( the fiv is a newer cat that in my home)
Of course i dont want to give up either of the cats unless its whats best for the fiv fellow
Thank you in advance
Cat flu carrier and fiv cat in one household??!
