Help my cat went from black to white

My cat is a female she is fixed she is black but her coat around her neck is white and everywhere else is starting to go white as well she seems healthy but 2 months ago she went missing we couldnt find her for 5 days then she just turned up she was weak and thin so we fed her and she is doing very well her coat changed since that day she went missing i have photos if that helps thank you

Photos would certainly help, but is the hair growing in pure white from the roots or turning grey white, more of a film all over? If it is the latter it could be something like dandruff, mites or mange, all quite a common reaction to a time of poor nutrition and straying. I would get her checked by a vet if you can, just to be sure - some skin infections can be passed to humans so a professional check is particularly important if that is a possible cause.
