I know most on here will know this and with the weather how it is at the minute in UK its not really a problem but i was watching a vets program last night and saw a poor cat have most of its ears removed due to cancer caused by the sun.
Please make sure your outdoor cats have sunblock on their ears especially on very sunny days and if you see unexplained scabs on their ears please take them to the vets straight away.
White cats are especially in danger.
Sorry to preach but i felt really sorry for this cat and has a sun victim myself i apreciate the sentiment.

Re: Sunblock
I don't on most of mine, but I do put sunblock on Daz's ears on sunny summer days as his ears are white. Not that they're white for long after I apply the sunblock and he rolls in the dirt .......
