Eye discharge

Hello!
My three months old British short hair gets eye discharge every 2-3 days when she is awake. The vets said it is okay. I use the eye drops on her daily to bidaily depends on how bad it is. Its helped but not a lot.
Did anyone's got any experience or any ideas on how to stop it?
