Hello team’

I am a new cat owner and my kitten has been sick over the past few days. I basically changed her food from instinct to purina pro plan but other than that, nothing special. She’s been coughing like a human’s “wet cough”, swallowing back whatever we feel like she’s about to get out. The vet prescribed her some antibiotics but I was wondering if anyone had seen something similar for their kittens/cats? I am super worried

Hi, I would simply try switching back to her old food first and see if the cough clears up, and if it hasn't in a week or so, or straight away if it gets worse, see what the vet says.

Thanks Molly I just bought her instinct food so I will keep monitoring her over the next few days... Hopefully it isn’t asthma or heart worm
