cat after tooth extraction/cleaning

Post by mak1234 »

on friday my cat, Shadow, got her teeth cleaned and her left k9 took extracted. She would not lay down or sleep. she would just sit up and her eyes would start to close but she would fight falling asleep and laying down. Also, she has a lot of eye boogers that are green (infection??) The vet gave me syringes with pain medicine in it, .03 ml. This is the first time she has had surgery and i am freaking out a bit. if anyone has any insight please share ❤️

Her sleeping issue is likely a reaction to the anaesthetic, some sleep a lot after, some can't sleep, it can last up to 48 hours
