Ovarian Remnant syndrome

Hi! It was very apparent to me that my cat had ovarian Remnant syndrome due to the fact that she had been going into heat for the last 7 months after being spayed... I was told to bring her in front of ultrasound which I did not know I would be responsible for for $375.. the results were they found a very small ovary that they missed the first time.. so the question is now who pays to redo the surgery?
