Help moving in to temp accomodation

Post by sammyboy »

Hi all, i am looking for some advice. we have a 5 yr old male outdoor cat. he was a stray who found us and joined our family. he is very independant. we had a house fire last wk and are waiting to be rehomed within the next few days by our insurers. we have had our wee sammy cat for 3 yrs and have not moved during this time. can anyone help with some tips for moving on a temp basis to a new home? we think we will be out of our hse for 2 months. thanks

you must have a lot to sort out at the moment, and as you will have to keep your boy indoors for at least two weeks in the new accommodation, I wonder if it would be better to put him in a good cattery for a week or so, while you sort yourselves out

I would presume the insurers would pick up the tab
