Flea treatment with my cat

Hi

I am new here and would like some advice if possible, every month I apply flea treatment to my cat Edna and she reacts so badly to me doing it.
She will run off and not be okay with me until the day after but because she freaks out so fast I only get half of the treatment on her.

Whenever it time to do this it stresses me out aswell my cat, I don't know what to do anymore as it's getting worse every month.

My other cat Princess however she is fine with it, she will let me apply the treatment whilst she sleeps, wakes up a little and then back to sleep.
I wish Edna was this simple.

Do your cats go outside?

Can the vet suggest an alternative, like drops in food, tablets, anything other than drops on the neck?

Hi, I use Credelio tablets for my boy Murphy. I much prefer them to these spot on things. A bit more expensive though but worth it.
