Feline chlamydia

Post by andrea8411 »

My nine year old cat has started sneezing and I'm sure a runny nose. I have recently fostered 4 kittens and he started sneezing 24 hours after bringing them into the house. I have just returned from the vets where she thinks it is feline chlamydia and givens him 5 days of anitbiotics. I'm assuming it must have passed from the kittens but none of them were sneezing, they were all very well.
Having read about chlamydia it's more conjunctivitis, he has no problem with his eyes, just like he has a cold.
Has anyone experience of this desease with their cats?
