Hi, brand new here!
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what this may be? My cat was recently diagnosed with asthma and was given a Methylprednisolone (Depo-Medrol) injection about a month ago now. Could this be related? Thanks so much!!

Re: Small rash above eye
I struggle to remember a cat of mine that has not had something similar at one time or another. Because that area between eye and ear the fur is so thin you can see the skin and it seems to be forever getting in to scrapes. Even my indoor cat now had a rash/scrape there earlier this year,

It looks similar to a patch my cat has on his back at the moment. I took him to the vet with it last week, who diagnosed a bacterial infection. She prescribed medicated shampoo for the area and an antibiotic gel. It is clearing up but I am to continue treatment for a couple of weeks.

PS; methylprednisolone is an immunosuppressant so your cat will be a little bit more vulnerable to infections.

It looks a bit like peri-ocular dermatitis, which one of my cats has had recurrently for a few years.
It isn't serious, but I'm not a vet so can't diagnose.
