Save Bobby's life

]I'm not sure how to post on the forum so hoping this will work...
Can u help save Bobby's life please anyone?? He is a 7 year old black n
white cat I found as a stray 4 years ago .so reckon he's about 7 now...
So at beginning of covid I noticed his respiration rate ( breathing ) was
very fast about 80 bpm 2 years ago I first noticed back then it was
sporadic throughout the day this past year I've noticed it's become more
frequent lasting longer n is now at about 100 breaths per minute ...this
is not normal for a cat should be upto about 30 breaths per minute ..I've
taken him pdsa 4 times past year and as he's presenting well eating n
drinking they say there's nothing they can do for him ..if I was to pay for
a private vet it would cost me 100s of pounds which I done have as I'm
disabled n can't work..I've rang rspc, cats protection; animal Trust and
none of them can help him they've all said if it turns out he has a
congenital defect there advice would be to put him to sleep. I can't afford
a private vet the cheapest quote I got was 500 pounds .. I also tried to
buy a pet plan but there is no UK pet plan that will take on a cat with a
pre existing condition...so unless I have excess money of 100s spare Bobby
will prematurely die as he breathing so fast pretty much 80% of the day its
just a matter of time the strain on his heart will cause it just to
stop...im absolutely devastated I can't get anyone to help him unless I
have money which I don't..so unfair Bobby falls through the loop for
concessionary care as he presents normal despite me showing vets videos of
Bobby who when sat still sways from side to side...and as I'm not rich poor
Bobby is destined to die early because I can't get him the help he
needs...can anyone help me save Bobby's life please..he's a beautiful
friendly affectionate boy who remains happy despite breathing so fast he
still purrs at the same time ...pls can u help save Bobby's life anyone any
advice pls thk chizxx

The PDSA are the ones who offer veterinary care for people on low incomes, it stands for People's Dispensary for Sick Animals - it's their purpose. Otherwise you can always try starting a Go Fund Me page, that seems to be a popular trend these days.

Hi pdsa said as he's presenting well eating n drinking to do further tests would cost 100s and as he appears well because they haven't seen his fast breathing they said if I paid n he did have a defect with his heart they'd only advise to put him to sleep, which I don't want to do so in other words they're not prepared to do further tests...and private vets minimum charge is 500 pounds which I haven't got...thought about a go fund page but I don't think I could raise enough for him to be seen by a private vet n people can be particular about donating money ....thk molly for reply hunxx
