Hi! I found a 5 week old kitten that had been hit. I took him to the vet and he had his hind leg amputated. The surgery went well. The vet said he appeared to have some nerve damage that was effecting his other hind leg, but that it should be better in time. I’m still worried. He isn’t even trying to move or use his other hind leg. It’s warm and has good blood flow, but it’s just limp. He is using his front legs and it trying to drag himself around, but has zero use of the other hind leg. Has anyone else had this issue? It’s only been 24 hours since his surgery, but I’m just super scared for him. Can anyone help me understand based off of a similar experience?
