Just being naughty?

Post by Leener »

Hi

We have a 6 month old tortoise shell, Whisky A-Go-Go who is our very first cat. She's litter trained but on several occassions now she has sat on either my husband or myself in bed and pee'd on us. Also it doesn't really smell of cat urine which is weird. I've even heard her go downstairs and use the litter tray and then come back up and do it.

She sleeps on the end of our bed and is slowly starting to learn that she's not to faceplant us purring at various times during the night so she's being pretty good on the whole. We want to keep her in the bedroom overnight but if she keeps doing this we'll have to lock her out. Is she just being naughty because we're ignoring her? She's being spayed tomorrow and in a few weeks we'll start the process of letting her out during the day so not sure if this will help.

Any clues?

Thanks :D
