My cat is marking

Post by catster »

last year my partner and I rescued a kitten, having already got two cats off 4 years off age. unfortunatily the kitten developed neurological disorder resulting in him having to be put down. the kitten was a male. the older two cats being male and female. a while after the kitten had been gone, one of the older cats started marking. but only in the place where the kitten was feed and near his litter tray. with this being in the living room we are keen to put a stop to this behaviour. we are also planning for a baby and are hoping to decorate with a new carpet. we have put in new litter trays and also used pet behaviour spray. with no joy. we r unsure how to stop danny from doing this. both the older cats where also recuse cats and came as a pair. they r lovely cats but danny needs to stop doing this before we have kids.
