Moving House

Post by terriberri »

Hi there

I am moving house, my cat is currently an outside cat altho he only goes out to do the loo most times and comes back in.

The area we are moving to i wouldnt trust him going out, so looking to keep him indoors with a litter tray.

Not use how to tackle this.. was wondering if there was any spray or something we could use to make him aware this is where he goes potty?

When you first move, if you keep him in one room for the first few days with a tray, he will more than likely use it.:)

Good luck.

If he's reluctant to use litter, some garden soil in the bowl with increasing amount of litter and less soil might work. Also, I've found that my lot all prefer litters which are very fine and sand-like, which is easy on the paws and much more like what they are used to generally when outdoors. Best of luck with your move.
