So comet has only just started to do this within the past day or two. He'll sniff mine of my partners fingers, then put his mouth around them, obviously leading to his teeth being around them but he doesn't bite or if he does it's not in a aggressive way, he then removes his mouth and starts to lick our fingers and hand...
Any idea what this kind of behaviour is?

He's probably teething, he's the right age! If you look closely you'll probably start to see tiny teeth on the floor!
