gone off food fussy eater

Post by jenniferozzy »

Hi all,

i have a 5 year old torti called zeffy

shes always been a bit fussy with food but lately she hardly touches anything.

ive tried all sorts from tuna, salmon , boiled chicken and the gourmet cat food.

this has been going on for two weeks.

she will eat dreamies, but she cant love of those surely

can anyone suggest anything i can try her with?

also i have a new cat called monty hes 1 year old hes very shy and he also is hardly eating, will i just need to give him time to settle? i got him 3 days ago hes drinking fine and is just starting to explore

any help advice appreciated !

2 weeks barely eating is far too long - regardless of what is causing her lack of appetite, not eating properly for so long is in itself cause for an immediate vet trip

your boy could still just be too overwhelmed to eat much, but perhaps it would make sense to have him checked over at the same time you take your girl in

I agree, Saffy needs to go to the vet straight away, and I would get your boy checked at the same time. He should be eating something by now.

I'm so sorry to hear that, must have been a dreadful shock for you.

I hope your girl is feeling better soon.
