Will a tall safety gate be enough?

Post by LizzyLou »

Hello
We want to keep a little fellow in one area of our house on the few occasions that he will be left home alone, until he is old enough to go out on his own at 12 weeks post all vaccinations.
So I wonder if anyone can help me: will a 110cm high safety gate be high enough - or will he be able to jump this at 8 - 12 weeks?
Thank you!

The majority of safety gates have wide bar spacing that kittens can simply walk through... You can get mesh ones that don't have bars but they can climb those.....

In my experience, if a cat wants out, the Great Wall of China can't keep them in!

In mine too - in my last house the cats regularly left our garden by jumping a 5" fence.
