Thanks. It is never easy, but I think when it becomes easy then you should stop having cats. She was such a fantastic cat, there are lots if happy memories. She had mellowed a lot in age, hen she as younger she she was very hissy but willingly went to friends the last couple of years

Re: Vibes for Molly please
Desley I am so terribly sorry. Perhaps it was best that sweet Molly went more quickly than expected. For her that is, not for you sadly. You must have been desperate to have longer with her but it wasn't to be. You gave her the best care she could have had. That picture of her just says it all!! What a lucky lady she was to have you to look after her. Thinking of you x

I am so sad to read this. You did the very best for her and it is hard to realise it at the time but to let them have their peace is the biggest thank you we can give for all the years of love they give us.
Rip beautiful girl.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost her so soon. I always feel they are sent into our lives to enrich us with their unique love and no matter how long or short that time is we are better people for knowing them.

Re: Vibes for Molly please
Oh Desley, I've only just caught up with this. I'm so very sorry to hear about Molly. No cat could wish for a better home than with you, or for more dilligent care, so I know you and your vet will have done everything possible to give Molly her best possible chance. The worst of loving them is that we can't keep them with us forever, and saying goodbye, and learning to live without them, never gets any easier. I hope you're coping ok, and that you and Buster are keeping each other going. Take care, Anna and Lily xx

Sorry Desley - I know you had a real bond with Molly. Sorry it was sudden, but at least she did't have to suffer months of going downhill.

Re: Vibes for Molly please
Well, it's been a month since I lost Molly, and it isn't that much easier to be honest. Night times are the worst, mainly because that was her time, we'd have lots of cuddles. At the moment there are no plans to get another cat, as Buster is so territorial and hard work - if he gets playful, he likes to pounce, which never went down well with Molly. plus his diet is much easier with only him, he's finally stopped running up the stairs after each meal to see if there are leftovers!!
