Urinating near food

My cat is 8 years old and has recently begun urinating near her food; which I thought was something they never did. She is eating normally and appears happy otherwise. She does not use a litter tray (both our cats go outside)and goes out several times during the day. Any clues to why this may be happening!?

I'd take her for a check up, and try and take a urine sample with you in case she has a UTI

I agree, changes in toilet habits do need investigating with the vet. This is very odd behaviour.

But just a thought, have there been any intruder cats in the house, stealing her food?
