Older cat diets

I've had to stop feeding my cats cat food from supermarkets as the old cats 10 plus have symptoms, Smoky attacks food like it's crack cocaine and Bluebell often has runny bowels and goes to the litter tray a lot.

I know there is nothing physically wrong with them as I've had them all seen and tested, I've decided to experiment with better quality food.

I am trying one pouch of country hunter sachets a day each and for their morning meal they are having Burns original cat biscuits chicken and brown rice

I'm having to weight them out exactly because they love the burns so much they will eat any amount I give them and I don't want them to get fat.

It's still early days and I may try a few other things too but I can't help thinking even the senior brand cat food is making them both ill.

The younger cat is getting better food too.

Have you tried senior dried food? They're often better for cats with sensitive tums. Make sure there's plenty of fresh water out for them. Have a look at the responses on another thread just below this one on "Recommended Senior food". You might find the comments on there helpful.
