Vibes for Elvis please

Post by booktigger »

Picked up a cat on thu who the owner had described as having some round scabs, turned out to be an understatement, poor thing is practically bald and even has scabs on his paws  the vet is fairly sure it's severe flea dermatitis but can't rule out ringworm so is keeping him till tue when the results will be back. When we got him out of the basket his belly was crawling with fleas, poor thing.

Oh poor boy - thankfully he's in good hands now. Fingers crossed it's not ringworm but even if it is, it can be dealt with and he'll be a lot more comfortable very soon.

fusses to him when you see him

Sorry for not updating this, fortunately it wasn't ringworm as while it is easily treated it prevents a fosterer for fostering for months. Picked him up Tue, he's also quite underweight but so lovely and affectionate

So pleased he's in good hands now, poor little lad. What a shame he ended up in such a state. Hopefully he'll soon be back in good form. Do keep us posted.
