What sunblock for cats?

I was wondering which sunblock I can use for Dave who loves to bask in the sun. He only really needs it on his nose.
Can I use 'human' products, or does it have to be a special vet' prescribed one?

I use Tesco own brand factor 50 for babies.... but noses are notoriously difficult as they tend to lick and / or wipe it off.... how much shade do you have in your garden in the way of shrubs that Dave can lie under. I've found with mine that they tend to find the warm shady spots, ie under cover in the greenhouse or under a shrub. I don't often find them in the full sun so now I don't bother with sunscreen

Hi Meriad. Its a south facing courtyard. But there is a honeysuckle bush that he tends to sit near. However, I am thinking I'll have to build a little 'green' bushy shelter for him for the sunnier days.....if we get any.
