Warm weather and eating.

Post by Grace56 »

Does anyone else notice their cat eats less in warm/hot weather?
My Dave is having a lovely time basking in the sun at the moment. However, he comes in, asks for his food, sniffs it, licks some of the gravy, eats a little then mooches off outside again.
He seems ok otherwise, but I wondered if anyone else notices this.

Yep, all but the two major pigs tend to lose their appetite a bit in warm weather, it's very common. :)

Yes, Tilly only ate two pouches at dinner time (she usually has three). She has been quite lethargic all afternoon and has only just perked up as the air has got cooler.

Yep.

Normally both Sox and Tiger would eat till they popped if given the chance, so every now and then I throw a chick in with their food to give them bones to crunch.
Last night Tiger was quite happily chewing on his chick after eating his food but Sox just pawed at his and left it. So Tiger ended up eating both, no complaints from him lol.
