Is this normal, a lump under the stitches were cat was spade

Got nine month old cat spade, it's been bout a month almost healed but there is a lump under were the stitches r, im worried that the place messed up, does anyone know if this lump is normal

It could be that one of the internal stitches hasn't dissolved - you'll need to take her to the vet I think.

This happened when I had my last cat neutered. Scared the hell out of me!
I took her to the vet and they checked her over. They said it was just some mild swelling where the stitches were dissolving and it would go away over time. It disappeared in a couple of weeks. However, I would always recommend taking a cat to the vet if they have something like this, just in case it's an infection. Better to be safe than sorry.
