I have an appointment at the vets on Friday for Dave.
The spot on his nose is bigger and I'm terrified that it's squamous cell carcinoma. He is eating ok and still going out, but I know the thing needs attention.
I'm dreading Friday morning.

Just needed to tell others who would understand my fears.

most of us understand totally your fears, Grace56, and some of us have sadly shared them - can you bring the appointment forward at all? it probably won't make any difference to Dave, but it will give you a shorter time to fret in

All this persons posts have been anti cat, Kay. She has no business being on this forum.

Anyway, thanks for reply, Kay. I've calmed down now. I'll go Friday and let you know how we go.

My thoughts are with you Grace56, hopefully it will prove to be something treatable, but I can understand the fear.

And as far as other things go, I have to keep reminding myself 'Don't feed the troll'.

Thinking of you Grace56. Most of us have had this 'dread' for our cats, it's a normal reaction. I even get nervous going to my GP and I've known him for 30yrs! All fingers and toes crossed, which will make it a bit difficult to walk to the shops but I don't care, beloved Dave comes first and we are all sending good vibes his way.

It's human nature to think the worst, I'm terrible for doing it. But it's only because we love the little monsters so much.

Oooh Grace, poor Dave. I'm keeping everything crossed that it is nothing to worry about. As Kay suggests perhaps you can get in to see the vet sooner.

Yes, Crewella and Bobbys Girl. The deleted posts were quite nasty and it was a cat hater.

Only just seen this thread. Hope Dave is OK on Friday, but know only to well why you are worried.
Also glad I did not see the deleted posts - they seem to have been pretty sick - just what you don't need in these circumstances
