Re: Cats fight
Hi and welcome. I'm sorry to hear this; it's frightening when they suddenly start scrapping out of the blue.
Have you any idea what may have caused the fight? Also, are they neutered and have they been together for long? Has there been any sign of hostility or bullying before?
A very common cause of sudden hostility can be after one cat in the household has had to visit the vet. To the other cat, it doesn't smell right, therefore this is not the cat he knows. After a few days the normal smell returns and they usually settle down.
Another cause can be that one of them has been frightened by something, a dog or another cat maybe, outside, or even through the window, and attacked its housemate out of fear and confusion.
Worst case scenario may be that you have to re-introduce them all over again, but I hope it doesn't come to that; poor things, they must be feeling very bewildered; I do hope they begin to settle down soon, please keep in touch.

Re: Cats fight
Hi ya had them both from kittens they did have a fight last year got them back together. Just moved house about 3 month ago but both seem happier in new house. There was a cat at the bedroom window looking in when they was fighting I've block where the cat from outside and look in in case that caused it. It took all day Friday for the male to stop hissing and growling at me which he don't normal do. At the min I'm trying to start again with I.e apart having there own time and I've got the little one in a dog cage when trying put them together but he won't go near she's crying at him and he's growling at her I've try with fish near the cage which he loves but wk t have any of it when we 1st got her he was like this and it took 2 weeks for him

Re: Cats fight
We can never fully understand the workings of the feline mind. It might be the other cat has upset your boy and he is taking it out on your girl.
Since we lost Tommy last year, the whole dynamic of the family has changed. Now we have lost our 'peacemaker', Gracie's bullying has got worse and Bobby's short temper with her has become total intolerance. Everything is fine, then out of the blue, they all start chasing each other around. Willow has become affectionate, to the point of clingy, which is really odd because she has always been quite aloof.
Having said that. most of the time they all get along fine - if given enough space.
As Lilith has said, you may have to re-introduce them. Good luck.

Thank you for the advice.
Taking on board what you have said and started slowly introducing them again. Know it can take time but making sure While they spilt up swapping covers and rooms with each other then letting them see each via a cage which slowly getting some where
