10 year old with lymphoma cancer

Post by gypsy stardust »

Hi I'm new to this site. I have a ten year old that we've recently discovered has come out of remission. He has just started chemo again. Has anybody had a cat go back in to remission and if so for how long.

HI, and welcome to CatChat. So sorry to hear about your puss, it must be really distressing for you. Sadly the cats I've lost to cancer were diagnosed too late for treatment, so I don't have any experience of remission, but I do hope this latest treatment isn't too traumatic for him and buys him some quality time.

Hi

Welcome to CC.

Sorry to hear your news.

My cat Luna lost her fight with lymphoma a couple of years ago. She only had a short remission and did not respond well to chemo after that.

Hopefully because your cat has previously responded well you will have more luck. Fingers crossed to you both. It is a truly terrible condition.

What is your cat's name by the way?
